SEW YOUR DESIGNS is a sewing school located in Troy, MI, offering sewing, fashion design and specialty classes.  Classes are for pre teens (8-16), teens, and adults.   You will be taught by leading fashion designer Cee Jay Simmons, who's fashion lines include: Lady Love and Bare All men's collections.
 
                                                              Want to learn how to sew? 

We offer beginners, intermediate, and advance sewing classes for adults as well as fashion sewing classes for kids.
Our sewing classes are the most comprehensive, creative, and fun in southeastern lower Michigan. In our Beginners I class you will be sewing on your first lesson. You will make tops, bottoms, skirts, and specialty items such as tote bags. In addition will learn read a commercial pattern, sew from a commercial pattern and learn to use all types of sewing machines including sergers. This class offers over 20 hours of instruction.
Our instructors are leading fashion designers in the industry with trends and insights. We offer competitive pricing and first class service. We just simply the best!

It's pretty hard to sew without elbow room. That’s why we keep our classes to a maximum of five (5) students. You will enjoy the intimate setting of a small class, plus more one-on-one time with your instructor. Cee Jay, Raminta, & winning design of 2010 Passion for Fashion

Sew Your Designs welcomes our new instructor Raminta Vilkiene.

Raminta is the 2010 winner of the Passion for Fashion Challenge held at the American Expo.  But it is not the first time Raminta enjoyed success.  Raminta won the Project Runway like competition with students from the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) in Troy.  Raminta is not new to Sew Your Designs, she has worked with Cee Jay Simmons in constructing the garments for the R & B Group, The Stubbs Sisters. 

We are very fortunate to have Raminta at Sew Your Designs, says Cee Jay Simmons, president of Sew Your Designs.  Raminta will be teaching Tailoring, Pattern drafting, and Clothing /Draping Construction starting in January.
