Biography
Cynthia Simmons is an entrepreneur and consultant to the fashion design industry. She is founder
of Sew Your Designs. Sew Your Designs, is a Fashion Design and sewing school focusing on education, consulting and custom design for both the professional and consumer fashion community.
Her award winning unique work has been profiled in major fashion shows including, Imagine 2008, 2009, Ego 2009, and the Arab and Chaldean International Fashion show.
Cee Jay has spent a lifetime in the garment industry and attended International Academy of Design and Technology as a Fashion Design major. Cee Jay own's her custom fasion lines, her signature lines, under the labels Bare ALL (men's collection and Lady Love (women's collection).
Using her flair for elegance as well as the unique classic designs sets her apart. Cee Jay is one the elite fashion designers that’s designs for both men and women’s fashion.
She apprenticed with Diane Takacs of Nouveaux Designs in Birmingham, Michigan.
She has owned and consulted and styled for The Detroit Fashion Team. Cee Jay is renowned for developing a unique approach to flair for elegance unlocking creativity through teaching fundamental garment industry techniques to contemporary consumers.
Her fresh, out-of-the-box educational techniques have revolutionized the craft of sewing and fashion design
and are producing a new generation of artists with Sew Your Designs.
Cee Jay is a member of The Detroit Fashion Group, She serves on the International Academy of Design Alumni Association as board member.
